I have just tried sending one to you and get the same condition.

It was working last month.

JMC,

They are Private Messages. You have the option of either sending an email or private message via the forum.

Thank you Ron for your edification – I am afraid I shall never stop learning!

I have to try that one (pms) as well (I am wishing me good luck!).

Thank you also for the new word that I learnt yesterday, namely "boffins"!

Best regards – JMC

There seems to be a significant time lag between posting and actually sending.

I have reset PM permission to "unlimited", it seems that there was (by default) a limit on how many could be sent before they started backing up in the system.
